The Endless DesertA dangerous place for sure; if it's not the desert monsters threatening your life, it's the blazing sun and shifting sands. Not even the night is safe here, with beasts multiplied and temperatures dropped down to freezing levels. It's a sure competitor for the Hallowed Swamps, possibly even having the area beat. When the rolling grasses of the Windy Plains fall to the blinding white sands of this region, it may be in your best interest to turn back. |

Shifting sands and blasting winds, combined with the merciless sun over head during the day makes this one of the less desirable places to be in the world of Alternate Universe. From giant sand worms to armed skeletons, poisonous snakes and starving animals, this area really has more than it's fair share of dangers. If that weren't enough, rumor has it that the dunes are all one big beast, and that somewhere, the mouth of the beast waits for its next meal.

If you thought a canyon would be a safer place in this desert than the open sands, you were sadly mistake. Wind rushes through this canyon like a powerful river, driving clouds of dust which scar the sides of the canyon like the sharp edge of a blade. The temperatures here are increased as well, making the air practically unbearable, and should the wind ever settle, and rain take its place, the canyon would quickly flood, powerful tides washing everything away. With this in mind, sudden monsoons are not out of the question.

A small little settlement of adobe buildings and tall, strange looking plants covered in dried up, stringy leaves. Each one bends near the top, it's longer leaves falling like hair. At night, the trees appear as hunched-over figures against the dark sky, silently standing guard over the village...or perhaps their intentions are as dark as the night...
